We got a glorious sunset followed immediately by a 14 hour power outage. Just our block, not even the whole neighborhood, so PGE was content to ignore us until morning, because they suck. So we built a big fire, gave the kiddies glowsticks, read books by firelight and sang songs. Tucked everyone into bed in a silent, dark house, with the wind howling outside. Woke up cold and built another fire, power came back on a little before 9.
