I've seen these two before on Bremner, Bird and Fortune, a political/current-affairs satirical TV show that airs on one of the UK channels. Bremner of the title is Rory Bremner, whose shtick consists primarily of doing impressions of politicians. Generally good recognisable ones, too. But the Bird and Fortune interview setpieces are almost always gems.
they left out the bit about the managers at the lending banks getting a big commission on every loan they issued, even bad ones, but no reward for denying bad loans. and no punishment of any kind for anything at all.
and most of the management being drawn from the sales side rather than from underwriting or risk management.
