Thanks to the ongoing dismantling of the nation's social security and medical insurance systems, plus the increasingly hardcore approach to law enforcement, I'm guessing that by the time you and I reach retirement age, if we haven't managed to beat the odds and become self-sustaining, then the only way we'll be able to guarantee a roof over our heads and three squares a day will be to kill somebody. Say, an HMO executive, or a member of Congress.
