dweniusAll three Elephant Pharmacies abruptly closed yesterday as the company filed for Chapter 7 :(
This is an utterly Berkeley thing, a pharmacy with yoga classes in-store, herbalists and ayurvedic specialists on staff, and a little vegan mini-mart next to the rows of vitamins and supplements. But whatever they were doing from a community "vibe" standpoint was WORKING. I have been happily driving the 20 minutes over there for all my pill-buying [1] needs, even though there are probably 30 pharmacies closer to me. Waugh.
In other news, I am in Michigan today wearing my special Woad-blue corporate raider shirt, talking to [UNSPECIFIED] about assuming control of 100% of their IT functions as opposed to the 10% we do now. You may, if you wish, now imagine that LOL image titled "Hitman monkey finds no joy in his job."
