reality catches up

For some weeks now, in response to the question "how are you?", Rose has been saying "It's a happy day birthday!"  Or "birfday" sometimes.

and today, it is!  Happy Birthday Rose!  How can it be possible that you're two already?

Liana has been singing the Happy Birthday Song to herself for a couple of weeks now. It was correct on Saturday, but honestly, we've sort of been blurring the lines of accuracy ourselves by having Finding Nemo cake while family was here for Thanksgiving and all.

Calvin's birthday was totally moved to coincide with the heaviest density of relatives during our vacation out East. I'm not about to ruin his perception that every moment is Now. Not EVEN.

Happy Birthday!!!

I was in tears over the cute sayings. We're seeing the beginnings of that with "daw" meaning both "down" and "up."
