Rose moment

dweniusI am playing guitar. Rose comes up to me holding "I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!" and says "Papa will you wead this to me?"
I say sure and we move to the comfy couch with the big lamp. I open the book and before I can start reading, she jumps up and says "Hold onna minute, stay wight there." and disappears around the corner into the kitchen. She pops her head back into the room to say "Don't move. Stay wight there." and vanishes again. I figure she's running to the potty.
She comes back with 9 other Dr. Suess books. "Here you go papa! Wead DESE ones too!"
Trapped. No cat has ever pinned me in place so thoroughly, or for so long :)
